Cat Chen is a digital designer and illustrator born and raised in
Palo Alto, California. 

 

She is currently based in Providence, Rhode Island, pursuing a Graphic Design MFA at Rhode Island School of Design.

 

Her work engages with contemporary style and cultural trends—replicating, interrogating, and reimagining them through graphic form. She is currently expanding her practice to electronics, 3-D form, and code, searching for new modes of expression and communication.

 

Previously, she was at the Walt Disney Company, working as a Senior Graphic Designer for the past three years. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from Princeton University.
